San Luis Valley Happenings for 2010
May
May 29 - Glen Martinez Memorial Scholarship and Veteran's Tournament - Monte Vista Golf Course 9am Shotgun Start, 4-man Team Scramble. Cost is $200 per team or $50 for singles. Singles will be grouped up. The cost included entry fee, tee prize, complimentary range balls, Breakfast and Steak Cookout Lunch. Limit to first 22 paid teams. Make checks payable to Monte Vista Tournament Account. Entry form at www.glenmartinez.org. No phone entries accepted. June 18 - 19 - Fifth Annual Rally in the Valley - Monte Vista www.valleyrally.org
This year we are raffling off a
Harley 2010 Street Bob to build a skateboard park. Tickets are 1 for
$25/ 3 for $60/ or 5 for $100. Tickets can be purchased right up until
8 PM Sat. June 19th MST. You do not need to be present to win. The
winner is responsible for tax, title and license.

The
Fort Garland Revitalization Committee is sponsoring a Music
Festival from 10 am - 7 pm at the Fort grounds. International
musicians will be headlining the event.

Christmas programs for low to moderate income families, etc.
